Shift At Midnight Night 1

Objectives

At the notice board, take out the trash, clean visible blood with the mop, and restock the shelves. The same opening task set appears around 90s in SvalPlay’s full-release recording and in Tpose’s current walkthrough. Clean remaining blood, flesh, and dirty toilets before taking the bus at shift end.

Fixed events

Tpose reports that only the first shift uses a fixed customer answer list. It names Nathan Callaway and Julietta Granger as doppelgangers, while Clyde Dawson, Bonnie McCree, Kevin Larson, and Bartholomew Kessler are human. Use the list as a Night 1 spoiler, not a rule for those faces on later randomized shifts.

Random or reported events

The first-shift list is corroborated only by Tpose, while the tasks are visible in the independent full-release video. After Night 1, Steam’s official store description says shifts are randomized, so never carry a customer’s prior verdict forward without checking the current evidence.

Ending-affecting choices

No Night 1 dialogue choice is established as an ending lock. Tpose advises earning and keeping personal funds because the final pet surgery is reported to cost $250, but the actual ending decision comes after Night 12.

Failure points

Do not reuse the fixed Night 1 list later. A missed doppelganger can return as a monster, while killing a human reduces earnings. Finish the three notice-board tasks and cleanup instead of waiting for the bus with an incomplete store.
